How to choose
Start with the forecast, not the reputation. Use the coast map to compare where the wind looks best on your travel dates, then open each spot's page: it shows the 16-day calendar, the swell, nearby places and who is on the water now. To pick the month, read our guide to the Ceará wind season.
If you are a beginner, look for a school with a certified instructor. Wind, tide and traffic on the water change from day to day, on any beach.
